HAPPY BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND EVERYONE!

Yesterday was our annual village Regatta in Portscatho, and we were blessed with a day of warm sunshine and blue skies.......

It's so good to see visitors and locals alike participating in the competitions and enjoying the wonderful atmosphere

I can hardly believe the summer season is almost over for another year..........

Last night I made some mermaids' jewellery boxes.........

using the tiniest of shells.......

I am a solitary person by nature........

Having a shop is a bit of a contradiction for me,

as I'm meeting hundreds of new people all the time and welcoming them into my little world........

But on my days off

I often have a need to be alone, to see no-one and to talk to no-one

so having the shop is good for me, otherwise I would be a complete hermit.........

I love these speckled pebbles.....they look just like birds' eggs
