Just a quickie post today, to remind all you lovely bloggers that if you find yourselves in Cornwall over the Easter weekend, why not pop over to Portscatho on Easter Monday for the first 'Homespun' Fair of the year. Portscatho is situated south of Truro, on the eastern side of the Roseland peninsula.
There will be lots of lovely vintageness and handmade goodies on offer, plus homemade cakes and a pretty seaside village location. I will be having a stall; these are a few of the things I'll be selling at the Fair.....old chocolate boxes filled with vintage sewing bits, and charm safety pin brooches.....
I was a little anxious that these pure wool cushions I've just finished making would be a bit too 'wintry' for a Spring Fair, but winter doesn't seem to have quite left us yet, does it!?!
Keep warm, and hope to meet up with some of you on Monday! x
How lovely wished I was closer, what pretty things and cosy cushions xx
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful time.
Happy Easter

Ooo! wish I could be there to have a delve through the chocolate boxes and buy one or two! The cushions are gorgeous - lovely colours and the pale blue stripe is very Spring like. Hope the fair goes really well.
ReplyDeleteYour chocolate boxes are lovely.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your beautiful blog, and to thank you for the previous entry. I immediately ordered Summer In February, and it was delivered just now. Perfect timing as I am a bit under the weather with a pesky cold and snuggling under a knit blanket with a nice hot cup of tea and a good book is just what I need! I can't wait for the film to be released; I will definitely watch for it, most likely at an indie theater here in the states.
Oh how I wish I could join you, it all looks lovely. Your cushions are wonderful, I am sure they will find lovely new homes this weekend.
ReplyDeleteI stumbled upon you from a link on another blog. A very long time ago I read a book taking place in both Truro and Portscatho. I have been dreaming of them ever since. Enjoy your fair, wish I could come and shop too! Happy Easter!
